Born in Bogota, Colombia. Prior to joining the PhD program in reliability engineering at the University of Maryland, I graduated from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana where I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering. After my graduation I went to Wichita State University where I did a Master’s degree in industrial and manufacturing Engineering and later a Master’s in reliability engineering at the University of Maryland. I have work experience in automotive, semiconductor, medical and nuclear industries.
